EMMS FIELD TRIP INFORMATION (BY GRADE/CURRICULUM)

FIELD TRIP CHAPERONE REQUIREMENTS - MUST BE DONE EVERY YEAR

If you are selected to chaperone a field trip at EMMS, ALL THREE (3) of the following must be submitted to Ms. Karen Good in the EMMS Front Office in order for you to be approved and actually travel with EMMS students.
These forms must be completed each school year.

Chaperone Responsibility -
- Download and complete Chaperone Responsibility Form
- Return completed document to EMMS Front Office
Parent Volunteer Information -
- Watch the HCPSS Training Video OR Download a printed version
- Download and complete Parent Volunteer Certification Form
- Return completed document to EMMS Front Office
Child Abuse Information and Certificate
- REVIEW HCPSS Policy 1030 and download and complete Training Certificate
- Return completed document to EMMS Front Office

Please note that when you click on a link, the forms will automatically download for you to print, complete and send in with your student.
All items that have fees/costs associated can be paid using OSP, check, or cash (exact cost preferred - change is hard to come by).

2019-2020 Announced Field Trips

6th Grade
- Robinson Nature Center
  - Wednesday, May 27th and Thursday, May 28th
  - Students will be divided by Science classrooms and will be attending over two (2) days either in the AM or PM
  - Students will have lunch at EMMS

7th Grade
- Chesapeake Shakespeare Company, Romeo and Juliet Matinee
- All students will either attend April 14th or April 15th

8th Grade
- Chesapeake Shakespeare Company, Baltimore, MD (1/2 students each day)
  - Tuesday, April 14th and Wednesday, April 15th

Enrichment/GT
- 6th Grade GT - Extreme Weather Conference
  - Wednesday, December 4th
  - 12 students
