Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held November 19th - 21st.
The purpose of these conferences is to give parents/legal guardians an opportunity for ten-minute meetings with staff to discuss student progress/concerns. As conferences are not mandatory and there are very limited conference slots available, please consider your child’s academic situation and prioritize which teachers you may need to see; we are asking that you limit your requests to no more than 3 teachers per child. As always, if you have a pressing concern, you are welcome to contact the teacher directly, to discuss it outside of the county conference window. A reminder that when scheduling conferences, the fifteen minute time slots include 5 minutes for “travel time”.
You will be able to start scheduling conferences on November 9th and will have until November 15th. Access is through your HCPSS Connect account.
From the home page, look on the Navigation Panel for “Conference” and then click on the “Parent Scheduled Conferences” link in the top right corner; please allow extra time for the schedule window to open. Make your time selections and if you have additional children, make sure you jot down the times you have already chosen before going to the next child. You may go back in and change/cancel appointments up until November 15th. To view your appointments, go to the Navigation Panel again and click on Conference Scheduling and then View My Conference Schedule.
