Message From The EMMS Front Office

Happy Friday EMMS Families and Community!

Students are winding down to their final 9 days of instruction for the first marking period. Unlike years past, the end of the 1st marking period, Friday November 6th, is the halfway point for most of your student's classes. Please take the time this weekend to have your student log into Canvas with you next to them to check grades and missing assignments. If you notice your student is struggling in a course encourage them to engage in the offered daily support sessions at 8:30am and 2:55pm. We are noticing a direct correlation between students with grades below a C and their lack of attendance to those scheduled support sessions. We appreciate all you are doing to assist your students and work collaboratively with the school to ensure our students are staying engaged and maximizing their instructional opportunities.
