EMMS Hybrid Learning Late Arrival, Early Dismissal, and Item Drop Off Policies / Procedures

Drop-off and pick-up during the school day (Late Arrival / Early Dismissal)

When you arrive at the building, please call the Student Services Office 410-313-2844 to let them know that you are here and what student you are picking up / dropping off.

If your student will be arriving late, please make sure your student has a note and they can come into the front office (bus lot side) vestibule, ring the buzzer and a staff member will ask them their name and purpose for entering the school. They will then be buzzed in and will go to Student Services to pick up their late pass.


If your student will need an early dismissal, please call the school from the parking lot and communicate with the front office @ 410-313-6829. If you are able, please email emmsabsence@hcpss.org ahead of time to alert us of the date and time of the early dismissal. 


Do you need to bring an item for your student during the school day

When you arrive at the building, please enter using the front office (bus lot side) and ring the buzzer. A staff member will ask you for your name and purpose for coming to the building. Please let us know who you are leaving an item for and place it on the table next to the windows (behind you).
