ELA Parent/Caretaker Support Night
The EMMS ELA team is looking to gauge the interest of parents/caretakers in attending an information night consisting of 3 half-hour sessions (Notice and Note; Evidence-Based Literary Responses; ELA Tech Tools - Actively Learn/CommonLit/Canvas), which would provide parents with an understanding of reading and writing strategies covered in ELA classes at EMMS. These sessions would occur from 7-8:30 @ EMMS and would be focused on helping parents/caretakers be better equipped to support their children in ELA. If we feel like we have enough interest, we will develop the sessions and send out the date. CLICK HERE TO COMPLETE THE RESPONSE FORM.

Updated Volunteer/Observer Vaccine Requirements: Effective Monday, October 25, all volunteers and chaperones who interact with students, and parents/guardians who are conducting classroom observations will be required to use the PinPoint platform to show proof of full vaccination at least five school days in advance. The requirement also applies to students who volunteer or mentor at another HCPSS school during the school day, but not to students who go to the ARL or another school as part of their class schedule. Learn how to access and use the PinPoint VaccineCheck platform.
