HOWARD HS DANCE PLACEMENT AUDITIONS!

DATE: JANUARY 6 & 7 (snow date Jan. 8)

TIME: 2:15-5:00pm

LOCATION: AUDITORIUM

ATTIRE: DANCE WEAR

What should I bring with me?

1.         Audition form, filled out & signed
2.         Ballet/Jazz shoes (if you have them)
3.         A bottle of water & absolutely NO FOOD

-2:15-2:30  Sign in and receive a number                  -2:15-2:30 Sign in/Number
-2:30-2:45  Warm-up, stretch, prepare                      -2:30-2:45 Warm-up
-2:45-3:15  Learn ballet combination                         -2:45-5:00 Audition
-3:15-3:30  Practice in groups                                           (groups of 3)
-3:30-4:00  Learn modern combination
-4:00-4:15  Practice in groups
-4:15-4:45  Learn jazz combination
-4:45-5:00  Practice in groups

Please Note:  YOU MUST BE PRESENT FOR BOTH AUDITION DAYS! All current Dance Company members must audition again for the 2020/21 year. If you have any questions about this audition- please contact Mrs. Crisera:  sara_crisera@hcpss.org

Auditions are for placement in: Dance I, Dance II, Dance III, Dance IV - GT, Junior Dance Company - GT, and Senior Dance Company - GT

HCPSS policy will require students to be eligible (2.0 and only 1 E) for Dance Company for the 2020-2021 school year.
